By Lion Virginia Wedding, Club President This is the time of year when everyone gives thanks.  I am thankful and proud to be around a "Pride" of such great and hardworking Lions.  It takes a lot of cooperation and working together to have a great Club like ours.  Thanks to all the Lions who have helped to make our Club so successful. Ther are a few special Lions I would like to acknowledge: First of all, thank you to 1st V P Luci Sweron for holding down the fort in my absence I know we all appreciate and are thankful for the great dinners at our meetings.  Thank you to Lions Jo Ann Wayland and Sandy Madsen for coordinating this effort Thanks to Lion John Hoover for tending our bar and quenching our thirst Thanks to all the Lions who have chaired a committee: Lions Cari McLane- Christmas Trees, Jo Ann-Oktoberfest, Mike Hughes-Highway Clean Up, Mike Godinez-Bar, Bev Kirklie-Speakers, Judi Olson-White Cane Day, Marcia Newyear-Friendship Dinner, Renee Godinez-Casino Night, and Luci-Pancake Breakfast Also, thank you to all the members of the board for their ongoing help and support: Lions Luci, Jo Ann, Cari and John  McLane, Renee and Mike Godinez, Mike Hughes, Fred Fate, Bev, Bill Newyear, and Sondra Tersigni And thank you to Lion Sondra for the outstanding job she has done in publishing our wonderful newsletter And thank you to Lion Doc for his hard work on putting together our Lions website There are many Lions, who are not committee chairs or board members, who are giving much of their time and effort in many of our projects.  My thanks to you all.  I hope I have not forgotten any Lions.  If I did, it was unintentional and I apologize.
